Help with venturing into the Abyss!

Here’s what I’m currently running. It can whip up a swarm very fast and can usually win games by turn 4-5 with a solid start hand. Only has 1 DFC because I can’t afford the other 2 right now. If you have them, swap Furor’s for Soul Grimwar.

Because of how weak wraithlings are and how inneffecient trading is in abyss swarm, the optimal path for swamr abyss is and has always been to be fast as f***

Exactly. You want to get a swarm and play one of the finisher cards to buff them up as quickly as possible, before they have a chance to kill your board.

Okay, I remembered that Crypto existed.

But I already have mentioned that I’m more partial to a higher curve deck as I have tried Hyper Swarm in the past but the playstyle of blowing my load and hope they don’t have AoE doesn’t fit my playstyle.

Thats okay. Put in wraithcrowns and blood bound mentors taking out v reavers and shadowdancers. That makes your wraithlings supah thicc. This means taking out crescendo, for grimwars when you get them. This is protection vs aoe

This is pretty much your ideal T1P2 play

I may sound harsh, but no way you run ANY kind of swarm Lilith without crypto.

Also, if you wanna go slower route, consider Stygian. Just consider  I never managed to make him work, but still. Consider.

Yes, I know, the whole point is that I forgot it existed!

No stygian. 75% of minions lilithe spawns are not from a bar.

Anyways, as I stated, the best way to ladder consistently in higher elos as non hyperswarm, but as lilithe, is to use bbound mentor and crypto with furiosa and wraithcrown to spawn thicc wraithlings that ecape AOE, and then go ham. Its a slower, higher curve deck, but still strong ish, like t1.5

I’d remove Shadowdancer. Early game she’s a dead draw and later on, if you have a swarm up, things like DFC, Chakram and Priestess are preferable plays. BB Mentor is also a great addition for quickly amassing a big swarm and would probably work well in a more midrange style.

So, -2 Shadowdancer, -1 Ritual Banishing +1 Chakram, +2 BB mentor is probably the change I’d make there.

Not in his deck.

@Ben4d90, he wants to try a slower approach. While we all agree it’s weaker than fast ones, let’s jusr try to help him with it.

Still much cmuch too slow for any swarm or even half swarm deck, and yes, in his deck. Zyx, crypto into bbs, w swarm, etc etc. trust me. Too slow. Hell, the effect isnt event that strong, id rather run reavers for reach, even after nerf, or undervault for refill. Especially in an emp meta, stygian is bad.

There are some cards that help make a deck slow yet good. Ex wraithcrown. Then there are cards tht are too slow to play at all

I know, but Shadowdancer just isn’t really that good in my experience. It can occasionally close out games with the reach but generally it’s more effective to finish with the other cards I mentioned.

I concur with that, thats why I suggested changes I did

Make the deck a thick crown and furosa deck. Thats much slower, more AOE resistent, and still good nuff to ladder.

I mained swarm way too many seasons, so I know the archetype in and out, and what changes could make it good but slower.

I second this. Best bet on midrange is the crown.

It’s more of sustain tool than wincon. It shouldn’t close games.

Lkian is better than shadow dancer for that purpose. Especially in a midrange thicc deck, which is the most competetive version of this slow lilithe idea.

Can someone send me this holy grail of a list?

Well, I guess it could be a bit more effective played in that role. I mean, it’s definitely worth testing but if it ends up not getting played over other cards 90% of the time then I’d remove it.
