So, some dude just entered the ladder, looking for shiny Chevrons, gold, orbs and other riches.
Then they see they are matched against Sajj, truly this is gonna be easy, just hit her and I’m done, grab my loot and queue again! they think
But when they try to open the metaphorical chest that is Sajj, surprise!
I built this deck as soon as RotB launched, had a nice run to my standards with it, and due to personal reasons i had to leave for a while, when i got back, it did even better!
The core of this deck is that Vets have a hard time removing to that we use the element of suprise and mimicry to counter every single possble threat there is, since the best counter to any threat is itself!*
*confirmation pending
Ahem, lets talk about the cards, since I’m using some clearly under-used ones in this, and that is on purpose.
People are used to play around the meta, but one moment you get them off-guard, you win it.
The deck revolves around being as much as insufferable as possible, so bear with me:
CORE BOYS
Falcius
This gentleman is your dude to the end, what you ask of him, he will do it. He will even take baths for you if you ask. He is kinda overused so people expect him, but when paired with his squad mate Zephyr things get nasty: removal, general damage and a nice body *ahem*.
Zepyhr
What motherhcking Son Goku is doing in your deck you ask?
Providing you with frenzies, 8 damage frenzies with your pal Falcius or the Staff. For a measly 4 mana you can pop this sayan and do some serious plays.
You might wanna keep him out of the frontline tho if you gonna lose the ability to fck sh*it up.
Mirage Master
Also known as Mimic/Doppleganger in in your DnD, your main reason to use this guy is to Copy enemy tactical cards. Copy a Keilano, and she is neutralized. Copy a Shadow Dancer and she is neutralized. Mimics gotta mimic and you will suprise yourself of how much value you can generate of this…thing. Incredible value against abyssian. Always keep one of those in hand agains those blue ladies. Against other factions might work aswell, but you can replace them if you see fit.
Crossbones
Ah yes, the Songhai destroyer. Those ki beholder, and buffed ranged cards in general will drop a single tear.
Combined with mirage master you pretty much covered your weaknesses as Sajj agains far threats in the board.
Aymara Healer
Every anime must have a chick so this is why she is here.
Also the provoke and the heal.
But mostly the chick aspect.
SPELLS AND WIZARDRY IN GENERAL
Wishes
Buff your core boys for nasty trades, not much to explain here.
Staff of Y’kir
Make your foe unwilling to trade freely with you. Falcius for 6 damage, Zephyr for 8 damage frenzies.
Good early game, replace late game if you’re not going for lethal.
Blindscorch
Use this to buy time against those pesky rangeds, or to trade for free with your staff or core boys.
Frenzies while taking no damage is good too to preserve your weapons
Bone Swarm
Nice removal and swarmers bane.
Autarch’s gifts
Well this Autarch must be a h*cking nice guy because those gifts are indeed tasty, and all i get is socks and some random T-shirts… I Wish Autarch was my uncle.
Spinecleavers and Ankhs come pretty often, just remember that if you plan to use this, it must be the first thing you do on your turn to plan ahead later.
Divine Spark
For draw, not much to say
Stars Fury
One copy just to fill in the deck, still works wonders.
EXCHANGEABLE DUDES
Maw
I use maw instead of mystics, because I rather do damage with them and have my general available for another attack than one instance of damage and later heal.
Shrouds
Dispel is always handy, which one you prefer.
Pax
Kitty is good as an opener but not much after that. While an outstanding battlepet, some people might prefer Jaxi or whatever.
Tiger
Tiger is tiger, And it does what tigers does, which is get buffed and hit and die.
The most unfun card ever but a necessary evil since you might need some rush
You can replace it with rasha’s curse i guess but tigers are more versatile.
Tracer
Offers mobilty to escape some nasty provokes, or to give chase, and it might just get you the perfect position to do that nasty frenzy hit, mostply situational tho.
Nosh-Rak
Fun fact, I only used his attack once in my life, all other times it was either surrender or some nasty General hits since it curves after the gifts.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks for reading.
