Summary
What’s up my dudes. I know I said I had a Lyonar deck in the works, buuuuuuut this ended up being so much more fun. Ready to steep yourself in blood and chance it all up on deceit and lies? I don’t know if that applies to this deck but that sounds pretty tight yeh?
This deck is based around two minions and one spell; Tahr, Marauder, and Betrayal. You absolutely need to rush for Betrayal and one of the afformentioned minions. Capricious and Betrayal alone can almost guarentee a T6 gg combo. If you get a crazy lucky T1 hand, I personally like to keep Darkfire Sacrifice for a free Capricious effect proc. Work on burning opponent removal and setting up your hand the first 4 four turns. Try to keep a Wraithling up. If you’re not having luck with draw, aim to swarm the field and use Chakram to clear up some space. If you have Betrayal by T5, play Capricious or Tahr with positioning in mind. If you play Capricious, smack the general for one hit and burn a minion or Wraithling however you can, hence my love for Darkfire this late. Activate Betrayal and hopefully you have managed to whittle down the general enough for gg. If you play Tahr, you’re gonna have to activate Betrayal first and with enough minions proc’d from Betrayal, you could be looking at an easy 11/4 Tahr + whatever damage was dealt to the general by their own minions. Mindlathe is also a fun card to have active because if you manage to get the Capricious combo off, you can hit for another 9 damage, totaling 27 damage in one turn. Of course you don’t need Capricious to make Mindlathe work. It is there to move minions out of the way and get some minor last second damage you may be needing to get the gg.
This deck is something of a one trick pony, but it sports some versatility and breathing room unlike some meme decks. Positioning is quite possibly the most important aspect of this deck which is why Tiller actually has some viability away from the pile of unused cards. Thanks as always for checking out the thread guys.
