Decimus and Mnemvore dynamic

I just noticed that when Mnemvore burns cards, and Decimus is on the board, the discarded cards count as drawn cards, and Decimus deals 6 damage per drawn card to my general.

I don’t think that Mnemvore mechanic is supposed to work this way with Decimus, because it says ‘burn’, and not ‘draw’ 3 cards.

Thoughts?

well that;s more a tech deck … but fun actually much better than mythron ( cheats of trial and destiny )

i tried decimus with a unfathomable rites … not working , i burn the opposite deck with so called " draw cards from your opponent;s deck to fill your action bar "

Theorycraft : Cataclys'Mill'? Help me try this deck

I have tried a Vetruvian mill deck that loooks like this:

It actually had a solid win rate, but that is more do the solid golem package than to Mnemovore. In fact, out of the 3 games wheree I fully milled my opponent I still lost 2 of them and almost lost the third one (One loss was against Brome, it doesn’t matter that he doesn’t have any cards left when he has an unstoppable board. Lost №2 was from an aggresive/burn Sajj who happened to be able to finish me off with the last cards in her hand, and I almost lost to a milled Lilithe do to double desolater spam )

My conclusion is that to make Mnemovore work you need to design your deck in a more control like style, sadly Vet is tied with Abyss for the faction with the worst AoE (Circle of Dessication would actually be a good card here, too bad it rotated out…) and lacks in- faction healing (although this could be solved by using neutrals).

I also have a different version of that deck that runs Wraith and healing to deal with MillVet MKI’s weakness’s:

Sadly, MilVet MKII has a new problem, you don’t have enough card draw and your early game is rather bad. You can try either of the decks and see which one you like better. I may continue developing MillVet MKIII when I get tired of my other memes.

I felt the same way. Why word it differently if they didn’t mean it to behave differently? Immediately upon reading the card, I figured they worded it this way specifically to prevent it from behaving in this manner. Some clarification would be appreciated.

whoever design and suggest Mnemvore is wicked … draining 3 your opp cards … slowly and didn;t feel it until you bleed so much
