Cards cycling out?

Hi all,
I’m a new player, having begun this journey exactly one month ago, I just started understanding a bit how things go on here, pushing towards diamond this season (stuck at 8 for three days today, though), and I read on the forums that probably (is it surely?) next expansion is coming in a month or so and will cause the rotation of some cards.
So I’d like to know (if it is known) what cards are about to be cycled out to avoid sinking my spirit in them (I’m a “free to play” player, with the exception of the starting “one time deal”) and to begin to think about how to substitute them in the decks I play.

I was a player of MTG some aeons ago, so my best guess is that a whole expansion of cards will rotate out, but I do not know the chronological order of them so I couldn’t guess what.
Also, I don’t know how to tell what expansion a card belong to without checking on the wiki, is there a simpler, quicker way? If not I feel like it definitely should.

Yes whole expansions will rotate out along with some other cards pushed out of core set.

Order of expacs Denizens of Shim’zar > Bloodbound Ancients > Unearthed Prophecy > Immortal Vanguard.

I don’t know how to tell what expansion a card belong to without checking on the wiki, is there a simpler, quicker way?

You can click on the gear In collection and filter by expansion.

I still think that the filter thing is a bit uncomfortable, but it’s still better than the way I used to do that.

We have asked for visual indicators of card sets for ages, but apparently this is not coming soon…

Yeah, we all want dem visuals if you know what I mean.

I think we should just wait, do whatever you want in the meantime. I choose to lament the day God cursed me with this game as i wait patiently for the ill omened rotation. I have heard somewhere else on the forums though that 2 minions gif have already been released.
