I also heard that they’ve just given this new mech to the one who CREATED the horrific demons. What were they thinking…

Same first try, only lost 1 tower despite an ugly Tempest. Breath of the Unborn helped to save the city with minimal damage :stuck_out_tongue:

i lost the entire city and couldn’t punch the guy cause his attack was bigger than my health :frowning: still got it beat tho

Fun boss. Interesting that Variax gives Lilithe’s awesome bbs no matter which general you play. Really fun boss for Drogon

yeah, that was discovered a while back. kinda prefferable since other factions cant get shadow creep and variax came out before maehv was a thing

I mean no matter which Abyssian general you play, when you play them against this boss you get Lilithe’s awesome bbs.

Really? That’s strange

maybe because the general is protector and therefore not actually one of the abyssian generals?

But you still get the individual general’s bbs so it can’t be that

well just imagine its like zir. but without the text. zir inherits the BBS but it isnt argeon or ziran or brome. quick, somebody test this. steal a zir, then die, then variax as cass or maehv

qwerty is a godsend for tests like this

i cant believe i never thought of a qwerty + steal deck before now

I’m a nice guy and let the enemy kill 8 towers.
Blood Echoes ftw

Just double checked it. 8 towers died, not 7. It would’ve been more had they not been lucky and sniped 3 of them in the first two turns.

You know, I think that the most entertaining boss fights are ones where your initial plan falls apart and you have to improvise to win.

Take my first win of this boss fight for example:

In retrospect, my whole plan of bashing the enemy into the ground with Divine-Bonded Owlbeasts does not work if the enemy keeps on killing the Owlbeasts before I get the chance to pump them up. I decided to abandon that plan and just play by ear/eye. I think that makes a more fun fight, even though I almost lose in the end…

In the other news, why is Eclipse removed from the Core Set? I still use him/her at times.

This boss is fun, no doubt.
Could be more fun if it has 2nd form (transform).

That was exactly my thought the moment I read about the boss battle. With how much Into the Breach I’ve been playing, I was stoked that that this seemed to be a reference to it.

Silithar Elders. Silithar Elders EVERYWHERE.

I couldn’t spread them everywhere though. I missed one spot cause the boss killed an egg at the beginning of the turn. :’(
