Btw, has anyone watched tokyo godfathers? It looks interesting but I just haven’t gotten around to watching it.

Speaking of Tokyo, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is a wonderful anime. I don’t want to spoil it, but let’s just say the title is integral to the plot

Yeah I showed friends pictures of 8.0, and most of them who didnt see it thought it was real

Yeah. I have to admit, the whole Cartaphilus arc feels a lot lower quality than the first half of the series. I still haven’t seen the last two episodes though, so I am holding on to hope.

I may have seen you on discord, do you know Sign?

Also, koe no katachi?

i wish to know if anyone saw Your Name and what are your thoughts about it?

haven’t seen it, just curious since my sister would like me to download it c:

Do it for sure, my favorite movie so far.
One of the best anime romance movies of all time for sure. The soundtrack and visuals are top notch, and of course the story is truly a masterpiece

I used to be a mega weeb, then I got a life, and THEN I got into doolydoo. I tend to lean more into the light-hearted and funny stuff because I don’t have time to break down and cry when a rlly good anime finishes. Ama ama to Inazuma is a nice one.

It’s nearly not as good as the director’s previous work, but it’s a decent watch nonetheless. It’s about a boy who accidentally slips into the world of ā€œbeastsā€ and gets raised by a giant sword-wielding bear. The movie explores themes such as fraternal love and human nature.

Have you read the awesome manga version of NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind? That one’s my favorite manga of all time.

:ok_hand:

Jokes aside, I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned these already, but Patema Inverted and Summer Wars are pretty good.

edit: erp, derp @isbee already mentioned summer wars

@loliconartist, I really like how studio Gainax blends old style art and modern animations. Just take a look at the remake of Cutie Honey, it manages to retain that classic art style while retaining the fluidity that we’re so accustomed to today!
